I already do a “customer loyalty” program. How is GrowThat different?
Loyalty programs keep existing customers coming back. Referral programs bring in new customers and help you grow your business. GrowThat isn’t a replacement for your existing loyalty program. It’s a replacement for your current advertising or marketing. Instead of wasting money on social media ads or in the local paper, we help you reach new customers the best way possible: word of mouth referrals.
Can customers abuse my referral program, and redeem more than one free gift?
No. When a customer refers a friend to you, and they redeem their free gift (that you chose), GrowThat won’t let them use another free gift at that location again.
Does GrowThat track my referral program?
You bet! Whenever you log in, you’ll see how many referrers you have in your program, how many new customers you’ve gained, and (soon!) how much money GrowThat has made you.
What if I want to change my referral program once it’s launched?
No problem! At any time, you can change 1) what you give new visitors, 2) what you reward customers who refer friends, or 3) how many friends they need to refer to get their reward. You can also “pause” your referral program at any time. This basically just stops all redemptions from working until you start it up again.
How do visitors redeem their gift?
Because GrowThat integrates with your POS, redeeming gifts just takes a few seconds. Just let GrowThat run on the web browser in the background of your POS. When a new visitor comes in to redeem their free gift, switch over to the website, enter their 5 digit pin, and GrowThat will automatically switch back over to your POS with the fully discounted item. You complete the transaction in just one or two taps.
I don’t love the idea of giving away so much free product.
We get it. But GrowThat is actually the cheapest way to get new customers. Here’s an example: if you own a coffee shop and give a free small coffee to visitors who try you out, that’s roughly $0.75 worth of product your spending for each new customer. And let’s say you give away a $5 gift card for each customer who refers 5 friends. That means you’re gaining each new customer for $1.75 (give or take). That’s crazy cheap! You’d pay $2/click on social media ads, with no guarantee anyone even comes in.
Now, let’s say you gain just 10 new customers the entire year – but they come back once a week and spend $5 with you. That’s $2,600 each year (and GrowThat only costs you a fraction of that)!
Will GrowThat make my business more money?
Yes! That’s our goal and desire. We want GrowThat to make you much more money than it costs to run. On average, if you gain just 10 new customers who come back once a month, for a year, most businesses will gain about 2-4 times more than GrowThat costs. It only goes up from there!
What happens after the free trial is up?
When you sign up, you’ll enter your credit card, but you won’t be billed until the free trial ends. If you cancel before the end of the free trial, you won’t be charged at all.
Do you give refunds?
Because we charge month to month, we don’t give refunds once you’ve been billed for that particular month. However, you can cancel your account at any time, and we won’t bill for the next month or any months moving forward.
I have multiple locations, how much will that cost?
We charge $30/month for your first location. After that, it’s just $20/location. The reason we do it this way is because we allow you to run a completely separate referral program at each new location. This lets you create a custom referral program for each specific location (or you can do the same program at all of them). Since each new location will benefit and increase in customers and sales, and since it costs us money to run that program at each location, we charge for each additional location.
